World Book Day - An Exciting Week Ahead

What an exciting week we have ahead, celebrating - World Book Day with the book: ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C. S. Lewis.

There will be an array of activities for one and all to embrace. Where to begin?

Become acquainted with all the characters and fire your imagination by reading the book and watching the film. Get your questions ready to interview: Lucy, Aslan and the White Witch in the flesh!

Follow the trail, locating items related to the book.

Catch the train, in the KS2 hall, which will transport you to the secret garden, observing the reconstruction of Mr Tumnus’s vandalized home; journey further to enjoy the Winter Wonderland in KS1. Rest a while and take tea in the art area, pondering who you will come dressed as on Friday: one of the children, the faun, the lion? Decisions, decisions - the choice is yours.

Have a marvellous week…

Year 3 - 3N did it again!

Congratulations to 3N who have had the best attendance out of the whole of Key Stage 2 AGAIN! Well done 3N!

Year 5 Assembly

Once again it was time for the extravaganza that is The Year 5 Assembly. The children showcased all their hard work from the last half term and can be extremely proud of all that they have achieved.

Year One Maths Day

Friday 23 February 2018

During maths day, Year One were busy exploring the shape ‘triangles’. We linked this to our science topic of ‘food’ and computing lesson ‘We are TV chefs’. We spent a fun day making pizza (cut into triangles of course), making our own cheese and cress sandwiches (with cress we grew ourselves) and filming/producing our own cookery documentary!
