Merry Christmas From Hilldene

Friday 20 December 2019

With Christmas and New Year fast approaching the whole of the school gathered this morning for the final assembly of 2019.

Mrs Delmonte read a Christmas story, and the children joined in singing songs from their Christmas performances.

Thank you to all parents for your continued support and good wishes.

From everyone at Hilldene Primary, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2A - Talent Show

In 2A, the children have worked incredibly hard preparing for our talent show. Here is a video of just a few of the children’s talents. We have seen some gymnastics, jokes, dances and many other amazing performances. I am extremely proud of how hard all the children have worked in the Autumn term and they have shown that they are all striving to be better every day. I hope you all enjoy the Christmas holidays and I look forward to seeing you all back at school on Tuesday 7th January 2020.

Sun Book Coupons

Don’t forget over the Christmas holidays that The Sun – Books for Schools Campaign will continue. Please help us to collect as many tokens as we can to earn as many books as we can for our children.

Collection points in school for after the holidays remain the same:

Early Years and KS1 - we are asking that children in these year groups give any tokens that they have collected at home into their teacher at the start of the school day and they will then place them in the collection box in the Year 1 area.

KS2 – children in these year groups can ‘post’ their tokens into the collection box that will be displayed in the KS2 Library area.

Thank you again for your continued support in striving to improve the resources that are available to our pupils in school every day.

Merry Christmas!
