Friday, 21 October 2016
In Nursery this week we have been reading the story Handa's surprise. We have all brought in some exotic fruit from home and have been tasting these giving our preferences and why. We tasted a variety of fruit including passion fruit, mangos, sharon fruit, guavas and pineapple.
Year 6 - Maths Day
To celebrate Maths Day, Year 6 became experts on the number six. We took part in lots of number six related activities including a treasure hunt and investigating hexagons and cubes. Many interesting facts were discovered and shared. Some children even wrote the multiples of 6 in Roman Numerals. It was an inspiring day full of challenge and ended with a fantastic maths workshop performed by Quantum Theatre.

Year 6 Assembly
On 19th October Year 6 impressed their parents with a fabulous assembly. Songs were sung, raps and dances were performed as they demonstrated what they have learnt this half term. They've made great progress and had fun too.
