Everyone at the school just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who made a donation to our Harvest Festival celebrations this week. I’m sure you will all agree, the final rainbow looked fantastic and all the food/donations have now been dropped off at the Harold Hill foodbank - who were extremely surprised and grateful about the amount of food that was delivered to them this morning!

2A - World Book Day

We have had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day. All of the children looked fantastic and enjoyed the various different activities that we took part in. We used adjectives to describe our costumes and added conjunctions to make our sentences longer. What great fun!

REO - World Book Day

REO had lots of fun dressed as characters from Dr Seuss stories. We went for a tour around the school to look at all the wonderful displays, played games and read stories. We had a fantastic World Book Day!

Key Stage 2 Maths Day Competition

On Friday, we celebrated MathsDay2020 with a teacher competition during assembly. Each class in Key Stage 2 had a member of staff representing them in a times tables challenge. During the competition the children were enthused, excited and inspired by the speed of the answers the staff were showing.

Ultimately, the competition concluded in a final round competed between Miss Winch and Mrs O'Kelly, with Mrs O'Kelly being crowned the MathsDay Champion 2020.

KS1 & Reception Maths Day Assembly

Maths Day has been very exciting in the infants this morning.  We celebrated Maths Day by having an assembly and carrying out a maths challenge. One child from every class was nominated to take part and they answered lots of number bond and multiplication questions. Miss Adcock was very impressed with how quickly and accurately everyone answered the calculations. Well done to all the children that took part! Happy Maths Day 😃
