Hilldene Minecraft Club National Competition Winners!

Hilldene Primary School’s Minecraft Club was thrilled to receive a magnificent cup and prizes for all it’s members. They were the winners of the MiLittlePad National Minecraft Quickbuild Competition and each member received a certificate, toy and medal.

 


Thank you to everyone that voted for us during the year! Unfortunately we cannot run the club this term but are hoping we will be able to return next term!

Competition Time

New KS2 Playground Markings

There were lots and lots of excited faces in the Key Stage 2 playground yesterday morning, on our return to school after the half term holiday. The reason – new playground markings to explore for all the children, including a snakes and ladders game, an active zone and a new 5-a-side football pitch.

As you can see from the images below, despite the 'miserable’ weather at breaktime, the children still managed to really enjoy interacting with the new playground markings. Let’s hope the weather improves this week, so the children can continue to explore and enjoy these new resources...






Year 3 - Library trip

Last week, Year 3 enjoyed a windy walk to Hilldene library. The excited children were given the opportunity to explore the library and learn about all the different services they provide. The adults on the trip were extremely proud of the children's exceptional behaviour to and in the library!
