The PSA returned once more to Hilldene, this time armed with earth, fertiliser, mini shovels and flowers for the shelter in the KS1 playground. Here we can see our KS1 school councillors working hard to create a fantastic flower bed for the children to enjoy over the coming weeks of the summer term!

Hilldene in Bloom

On Monday 17th June, representatives from the PSA met with the school council to plant some flowers in the boxes at the front of the blue shelter in the KS2 playground. The children had great fun learning about how to look after the plants, including remembering to water them regularly. Other ‘green’ activities are also planned for this half term and into next year.
