In Year 2, we have been learning about the world around us. We learnt about the 4 countries in the United Kingdom and the capital cities. On Tuesday, we used google earth to look at the world from a birds-eye view. It was great fun to spot; rivers, green spaces and railway tracks. 2A worked really hard to zoom in and out of the different places around the world. 

Year 6 - Volcanoes

What an explosive end to SATs week! The year 6 pupils used mod roc to construct a variety of volcanoes .... which volcano will erupt the most next week?

Culture club

During the Spring term the children in Culture Club have been learning about China. They have learned about it's history, culture and traditions. They learnt to write in pencil, tried different speci​alities of the country using chopsticks and made Chinese lanterns.

Year 2- Geography

We have been learning about mountain summit markers. We used our knowledge to explain what a mountain summit marker is and designed our own markers. It was lots of fun using our sculpting skills and created our own mountain summit markers.
