Monday, 28 September 2020

This week is Bike to School Week 2020 – please take this opportunity to travel to school with your children in an ‘active’ way – that’s walking, scooting or cycling and make the start and the end of the school day a much healthier time for all of us!

Thanks you for your support

2A - Sports Relief

We have had a fantastic day raising money for sports relief. Everyone enjoyed dressing in non-uniform clothing. What an exciting week!

World Book Day Competition Winners

Here are the winners of the 100 word competition set in school last week for Book Week. The children wrote a variety of stories, one even rhymed in the style of Dr Seuss.

Year 5 - Science Day

Year 5 really enjoyed science day yesterday. They were on a journey to Antarctica trying to help Jason decide which type of material was the best to use for keeping the heat in when out in the cold.

As you can see, we were really enjoying finding which one was the best.

Year 2 - Science Day

Thursday, 12 March 2020

What a fantastic day! We have become scientists for the day and have explored our big question. Our year group question was, “What solution do you need to make the best bubbles?” We thoroughly enjoyed looking at the different ingredients and exploring why some of them created bubbles but others didn’t. We know that the key ingredient was washing up liquid. Thank you to all the parents and carers that bought in the resources we needed. We really appreciate your support and co-operation emnabling us to carry out these exciting activities. We hope you enjoy watching our video and viewing our different photographs.
