On Tuesday the Performing Arts club treated their parents to a fabulous show demonstrating their amazing dancing, acting and singing skills. From Spice Girls to the Greatest Showman there was something for everyone. The story was Peter Pan and the Lost Boys with the important message of forgiveness and second chances.
Luckily the rest of the school had the opportunity to watch the musical extravaganza. Needless to say all the audiences were very impressed. Well done to all the children involved and for all Miss Smyth and Miss Adcock's hard work.
What a talented group!

On Monday, we participated in a drama workshop and enjoyed taking part in lots of different activities. We spoke about our differences and shared what we liked about our peers. Additionally, we discovered what we loved about ourselves and decided that we are all wonderfully different in our own special ways. We played lots of fun games which helped us to develop our team building skills and communicating abilities. We have a very busy week ahead and we are super excited!

Matilda had quite an eventful day encountering lions, orphans, the Queen of Hearts, mermaids and many other unexpecting faces as she travelled through musical theatre time in ‘Lost In The West End’.
The performing arts club embraced the opportunity to showcase their talents as present to their parents the many scenes, dances and songs they had been working hard to perfect.

This half term our PE focus has been basketball dance! It has been great working within a group and sharing our ideas. We devised our own success criteria which was built upon each week, aiming to included sections of both unison and canon along with jumps, turns and travelling sequences whilst incorporating the use of basketballs. It was often a challenge to ensure timing was accurate so it was vital we worked together as a team!
