Macmillan Cake Sale

Friday, 29 September 2017

Who can resist cakes and coffee on a Friday? Tasty treats were on sale in the canteen at Hilldene Primary today to raise money for  Macmillan's biggest fundraising event. A range of delicious homemade delights (which would make even Paul Hollywood smile) were available to buy, with the proceeds going to a very worthy cause.

Thank you to the staff for organising the event and to everyone for their generosity and support.

Hilldene Triathletes!

Congratulations to Tilly and Darcey on completing the world’s largest children’s triathlon at Hever Castle last weekend http://www.castletriathlonseries.co.uk/the-series/hever-castle/. With a 100m swim, a 4km cycle and finishing with a 1.3km run, the girls demonstrated fantastic determination, athleticism and resilience...and still finished a smile on their faces!

Well done girls...we are proud of you!

Nursery 2nd Intake

All of our Nursery children have now started and we are very pleased with how they are settling into the Nursery routine.

We have been teaching them to tidy up after they have played with the toys using our "tidy up song". The weather has been lovely so we have spent a lot of time in the garden.
