Here are some photos of 5C having a maths lesson with parents and grandparents. Everyone seemed to enjoy the practical problem solving activities and it was lovely to see the parents involved.

Year 3 - Visit the Library
On Monday 22nd of January, Year 3 enjoyed a trip to Hilldene Library!
All three classess had the oppurtunity to learn about the local library and it's facililties. They also had the chance to browse their favourite books and find out how the library works. The children are keen to visit again and now have a form which allows them to borrow books for home!
Well done Year 3 on a fantastic day!
Monday, 29 January 2018
All the children really enjoyed their Friday afternoon art lesson based around their class text The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. After painting their backgrounds before lunch, they spent the rest of the time recreating a key scene from the story using a range of colours and materials. As you can see, the final pictures were fantastic!

In Nursery this week we have been making our own playdoh.
First we measured out 2 cups of flour.
Then we added 1 cup of salt.
Next we put in 1 teaspoon of oil.
We mixed it but it didn't look like playdoh.
Next we poured in 1 cup of cold water.
Finally we decided on the colour- purple.
We mixed all the ingredients together and gradually it became playdoh.
Now we can play with it!
Year 1 - 1MC AMAZING ATTENDANCE
What an exciting day for 1MC we finally managed to complete our AMAZING ATTENDANCE certificate. We decided as a class to have a party! We played musical hoops and musical bumps and finished off with a refreshing ice lolly. We are looking forward to completing the chart for a second time soon.
