Every week, teachers identify 2 outstanding pupils in their class who
have had a fantastic week either academically or socially or both! These
pupils are entered into the Golden Book and are announced during our
Friday morning celebration assembly. Our fabulous winners in the infants
receive a

Year 2 - Spanish
This half term, children in year 2 have been learning the names of various animals in Spanish and have started building sentences using “I have”. They have made their own animal masks and perform their sentences.
Music and Science
This week we were visited by the team from Conductive Music. Their MakersBOOST lessons combined music with science and we explored conductive materials, circuits, makey makey software and music. Using crocodile clip cables, makey makey boards, graphite pencils, fruit, computers and music software, we were able to make our own electronic musical instruments. We learnt how to compose different rhythms using notation and how to play tunes on our homemade instruments. We had a lot of fun!
