Every week, teachers identify 2 outstanding pupils in their class who have had a fantastic week either academically or socially or both! These pupils are entered into the Golden Book and are announced during our Friday morning celebration assembly. Our fabulous winners in the infants receive a
certificate in assembly and parents of the 'golden' children in the juniors receive a letter home, informing parents of their child's fantastic achievement.

Year 5 get creative

In year 5 we have been very creative this week. While half of the year group are at Stubbers, the rest of us have created thaumatropes, used mod roc to make mountains and much more. Today we designed our own pizza boxes and made them from a net. We also made our own pizza to put inside the box.

After a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast, everyone has had a great day facing fears and achieving challenges. With the sun smiling down on them, the children have continued to approach every activity with enthusiasm and excitement!

Nursery - Easter

The nursery children had a fantastic time celebrating Easter, they put on a fantastic show for their parents, singing lots of songs about Easter and spring, all whilst wearing their Easter bonnets. They also had a chance to look at the amazing decorated eggs made by the other children. The children also made Easter nests using rice krispies, chocolate and mini eggs. We finished the week with a visit from the Easter bunny, he dropped eggs all over our garden and left us a chocolate egg each!
