Friday evening saw the annual end of year discos for KS1 and KS2. Despite the humid heat, rugs were cut...shapes were thrown...poses were struck! Thank you to all the parents and staff for their help and support in making it such a fun evening for all the children!

Year 6 Pedal Power!

Hilldene Weekly Golden Book Winners

Every week, teachers identify 2 outstanding pupils in their class who have had a fantastic week either academically or socially or both! These pupils are entered into the Golden Book and are announced during our Friday morning celebration assembly. Our fabulous winners in the infants receive a certificate in assembly and parents of the 'golden' children in the juniors receive a letter home, informing parents of their child's fantastic achievement.

Year 6 Production - Good Bye My Friend

Well done Year 6 for a fantastic end of year production!

Emotional and entertaining songs were sung and our young performers threw themselves into their roles with enthusiasm. The music was uplifting, nostalgic and often tear jerking as they looked back at the events and characters that have made their time at Hilldene so special.

There were many highlights, but a particularly memorable scene was the group of fearless lunchtime supervisors fighting crime in one of the toughest environments imaginable - the school playground!

Congratulations Year 6 - you are all stars!

Hilldene Big dance!

Last Friday, dance club finished their successful year by dancing outside the Queens theatre. Despite the gloomy weather, Hilldene brought a smile to the crowds faces with their colourful T-shirts and energetic dance.

After the brilliant performance children, Miss Watson and Mrs Choudhury danced in the rain  to celebrate another successful day for Hilldene.
