Congratulations to all the children who have taken part
in Hilldene's Christmas concerts over the past few weeks. From Nursery to Year
6, all the children gave fantastic performances and should be very proud of
themselves.
The youngest members of our school community, the Nursery
children, hosted a festive sing-a-long with their parents and carers. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when the
children in Reception classes beautifully performed their version of the
nativity. Children in Year 1 and 2 professionally performed Whoops a Daisy
Angel, the tale of a clumsy angel with a heart of gold. Years 3 and 4 hot
footed it up the catwalk in their production of The Stars are Coming Out for
Christmas; whilst children in Years 5 and 6 sang sweetly, rapped rhythmically
and narrated clearly the Christmas story.
