Year 6 - Investigating Shadows

Thursday, 29 September 2016

Q. What happens when solid opaque object passes in front of a light beam?
A. Well pupils in year 6 know that a shadow is created!

As part of our science lesson this week, pupils in year 6 chose to investigate whether a shadow was bigger when it was closer to the light source or when it was further away from the light source.

Without a doubt, they proved to be real scientists- planning, choosing equipment, conducting the investigation, writing the results and coming up with a conclusion.

Well done everyone!
