Harvest Assembly

Harvest Festival is being celebrated this week at Hilldene with pupils and staff joined by school Governors and Russell Moul (St Paul's Church) to give thanks. In KS1 assembly the children sung Under The Harvest Moon and Big Red Combine Harvester, whilst in KS2 Harvest Samba and A Happy Little Harvest Song were sung instead.

The children were also treated to a brilliant performance by the Performance Arts Club, titled 'Greed and Giving'.

Everyone bowed their heads in quiet reflection, as we all considered everything we have to be thankful for.

Thank you to all the generous pupils and parents who have kindly donated food items which made a colourful display in our halls and the Nursery. Your donations will be given to the local food bank for them to distribute to the local community.
