Happy Easter from Hilldene!
Thursday, 29 March 2018
Thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support throughout a very busy spring term. We hope you enjoy a relaxing holiday and look forward to welcoming you back for the summer term on Monday 16th April.
Happy holidays!
Nursery - Easter fun!
We had a surprise visit today from the Easter Bunny. He buzzed on the Nursery door and left us a basket of Easter Eggs!
Then in the garden we then went on an Easter Egg hunt looking carefully for Easter Eggs and putting them in our baskets. We then counted them.
Happy Easter!

All the children were really excited to show off their Easter bonnets to the rest of the class. They all had the chance to talk with their friends about how they made their bonnets. In the afternoon, RKD got to parade their bonnets to Year 1, Nursery and the rest of Reception.
KS1 Music Festival
A magical morning of music was enjoyed by pupils in Year 2 yesterday when pupils from Hilldene, Broadford, Mead and St Ursula's Infants schools all joined together for the Havering Music Festival.
With the theme of 'I love Music' all the enthusiastic performers thoroughly enjoyed singing together and performing their own songs. A huge thank you to Mrs Wheeler leading the event and for helping Year 2 pupils prepare and perform so wonderfully.

'Eggcited' children in Nursery, Reception and Y1 proudly
paraded their beautiful Easter bonnets in our special assembly this afternoon. With fluffy chicks,
decorated eggs and a whole host of imaginative Easter themed ideas, a rainbow
of colour and creations was applauded. Well done to all the children for their
imaginative bonnets!
Decorated Egg Competition
With Easter on our doorstep, our creative children proudly presented their entries for this year's 'Decorated Egg Competition'. Without a doubt, the imagination and skill that the pupils demonstrate when creating these 'eggcellent' eggs is amazing. Congratulations to all of the pupils who entered.
