Pupils in Year 1 spent an exciting day at the Victoria
and Albert Toy Museum putting their new found knowledge of the history of toys
and science to good use. All the staff at the museum were very impressed by the
children's knowledge of the materials the toys were made from and their
properties. Meanwhile the Hilldene staff and volunteer parents were incredibly
impressed by the behaviour and conduct of the children throughout the day.
Without a doubt, our budding historians and inquisitive scientists are all
looking forward to sharing more details of the trip and their learning with
parents at the year group assembly on Friday the 28th of February.
