On Friday our lovely local Police officer PC Wayne came
and spoke to Year 6 pupils about how to protect their property. Hundreds of
phones are stolen every year and his helpful advice will enable us to keep our
valuables safer.
By marking our valuables with our postcode and door
number, police officers like PC Wayne can identify the owner of stolen goods.
Every child was given a special pen to take home and mark their property in
order to help with home crime prevention. PC Wayne recommended the children refrained
from marking their siblings!
