Healthy Eating Week

Tuesday, 21 June 2016

Healthy Eating Week was a huge success, with a plethora of activities and information about how to be healthy and active. Peddling smoothie bikes, a circuit pentathlon and a Euro 2016 Hilldene football championship were some of the activities. Most children learnt about their recommended daily sugar allowance, with children aged 7-9 being recommended 5 cubes and a can of coke containing 9! Overall the week gave children the tools to make more informed decisions about the foods and drinks they choose to consume and how exercise can help to keep them fit and healthy! Well done everyone!
