Stubbers day 2 - Afternoon

Friday, 2 May 2014

Despite relentless rain during the morning, the sun finally peeked through the clouds this afternoon. Birds sang...children smiled... teachers said a prayer of thanks!

For the final activity of the day, competitive spirit reared its head, when all the groups joined together for a team challenge exercise of raft building. With the aim of rescuing a teacher from a remote island, each group battled to build a raft robust enough to keep their terrified teacher dry.

After what seemed like hours of agony...watching and waiting...the anxious adults were finally rescued, with Miss Watson's team claiming victory!
