On Monday 24th February,
Reception classes received an exciting delivery of 10 chicken eggs from
Living Eggs. We put them in the incubator to keep them nice and warm and waited
patiently. On Wednesday some cracks started to appear in the eggs and we could
hear chirping coming from inside them!
When we arrived at school on Thursday
morning, we saw that 8 chicks had hatched during the night! Luckily, we were
present for the ninth chick's arrival on Thursday - which we filmed. All
nine chicks are healthy and we are enjoying looking after them and observing
how they are changing.
