Year 3 - Healthy Eating Week

In Year 3, we celebrated Healthy Eating week with a fun and tasty activity.  In literacy in the morning, we wrote instructions explaining how to make fruit kebabs - that got our mouths watering.   In the afternoon came the moment we had all been waiting for - we washed our hands, cut up the fruit and made a scrumptious fruit kebab which we then gobbled up.  Some children tried fruit that they had never tasted before and the verdict was a big thumbs up!  As well as giving us a juicy treat, the activity helped us to remember how important it is to have five portions of fruit and vegetables each day to keep us healthy.
